They assist your grip in lifts with heavy weights or in workouts where your grip strength is just too short! They are designed to reduce the strain on your grip and force on your forearms when pulling the barbell up. The Lifting Straps are often used for deadlifts, snatches and other lifts where your grip gives in earlier than the rest of your muscles.
This allows you to lift heavier or do more repetitions - This equates to a higher stimulus on the muscles and therefore get strong faster!
Rehband has made these straps from extra strong cotton with double seams so that they do not fray!
